Launchpad 2.0 Style Guide

The Launchpad code base was established prior to the FIS acquisition of Worldpay. Our engineering team needed a focused design system guide they could easily reference while rebuilding the product from the ground up to align with the new brand standards.

As the sole designer for Launchpad, I created the style guide that included only the styles and components utilized by our product.

my process

• I worked closely with our engineering team to understand their needs and frustrations when trying to update the current code to meet FIS brand standards and expectations.

• I knew they needed a more focused style guide that only included components being utilized by our product so they didn’t have to spend extra time digging around and wondering if they were looking at the right thing.

• This streamlined the redesign process by eliminating unnecessary complexity, accelerating development, while ensuring alignment with new brand standards.

• It was continued to be used well after I left Worldpay to build additional products in the Launchpad suite.
